for Web Servers, release Releases 2.0, 3.0 & 3.1

Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. With CA's recent announcement of the general availability of Unicenter Management for Web Servers, 5.0, we would like to take this opportunity to review the support schedule for currently supported releases of MasterIT Advanced Edition, MasterIT for Web Servers Enterprise Edition and Unicenter Management for Web Servers (formerly known as Unicenter TNG Web Management Option).

With the announced availability of Unicenter Management for Web Servers, 5.0, support for Releases 2.0, 3.0 & 3.1 as well as all versions of MasterIT Advanced Edition and MasterIT for Web Servers Enterprise Edition are now scheduled to be discontinued as of 12/02/2005.

If you have not yet upgraded to Unicenter Management for Web Servers 5.0, we urge you to do so as soon as possible so you can take full advantage of the latest new features and enhancements this release has to offer - such as Enhanced Scalability, Out-of-the box Web-based reports, Historical performance data collection, Web services monitoring capabilities and Self-configuring Web server agents. CA would like to help make your upgrade to the latest release of Unicenter Management for Web Servers as straightforward and successful as possible. Therefore to assist you, we are offering the following:

  • A no-charge upgrade from Unicenter Management for Web Servers , 2.0, 3.0 & 3.1 and all versions of MasterIT Advanced Edition and MasterIT for Web Servers Enterprise Edition Unicenter Management for Web Servers 5.0 for any customer with an active maintenance contract.
