Fast-response technical support is available for Advantage VISION products by calling 1-800-328-7463 (North America only).

Normal hours of coverage are 9:00 a.m. ET to 8:00 p.m. ET. After-hours emergency coverage is also available.

How to find the FAQs on the Advantage VISION products:

  1. Go to http://supportconnect.ca.com.
  2. From the "Available FAQs" drop-down list, select the Advantage VISION product of your choice.

Online Documentation
All Advantage VISION product documentation is in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf). This makes it easy to include these manuals on the website.

Here's how to obtain the documentation online:

  1. Go to supportconnect.ca.com.
  2. From the homepage, under "Support by Product" select "Advantage VISION Products."
  3. From the "Technical Information by Product Group," choose your Advantage VISION product.
  4. Select "Online Documentation."
  5. You will be asked to log on as a registered user. If you haven't done this already, select "New User."
  6. Once logged on, you will see the complete list of manuals in .PDF format.

Open Forums
We set up the Open Forums board on the Computer Associates Technical Support website last year. This is a website-based bulletin board for your questions, comments, suggestions and/or coding techniques that you would like to share with other users of the same product. Our technical support staff monitors this forum and responds to any questions you might have.

To see Open Forums, go to:

  1. http://forums.ca.com/.
  2. To login for the first time, click on "Create New User." Once you are logged on, you will see a list of product groups. Select the Advantage VISION product of your choice.

You must be registered to use SupportConnect, but once registered you can:

  1. Open a technical support issue on your product (see product ID chart below).
  2. Browse open or closed issues for your site ID.
  3. Browse DARs (Demand Analysis Request) for your site ID.
  4. Search the CA Knowledge Base for solutions and download them if needed.
