End of Life Announcement

To our valued Customers, Partners, and Colleagues:

Thank you for your continued interest in CA solutions. Over the past 5 years, we have seen the wireless and mobile industry evolve at an amazing pace. It is clear that this evolution is very hardware-centric and so is the delivery of solutions to manage, configure and secure these elements. Based upon market conditions and an internal review to refocus our efforts on strategic initiatives more closely aligned with our core business, we have decided to drop support and end the life of the following products:

• CA Wireless Site Management r4 and r4 SP1
• Unicenter NSM Wireless Network Management Option 3.0

This is effective September 1, 2006. Current customers with ongoing maintenance will be supported till August 31, 2007.

As part of this decision, the CA WSM r11 project has also been put on hold indefinitely. We recommend investigating the use of options within CA Spectrum 8.0, CA eHealth End-to-End Console 5.7, and CA Unicenter NSM r11 as alternatives for WLAN management in your enterprise.

As the leader of Enterprise IT Management solutions, we will continue to focus on delivering solutions that manage and secure the core IT elements and processes, expanding our capabilities as the enterprise grows.
