SupportConnect - Unicenter Service Level Management v3.0 is now available
  


Computer Associates International, Inc. is pleased to announce that Unicenter Service Level Management 3.0, formerly known as Unicenter TNG Service Level Management Option, is Generally Available. If you are currently using Unicenter TNG Service Level Management Option 1.0 or Unicenter Service Level Management 2.0 and still current on maintenance, please call 1(800) 637-5858 to receive the upgrade. For clients outside North America, please contact your local Computer Associates Support Center to determine General Availability.

The following are some of the enhancements that were added to this new release of Unicenter Service Level Management:

Data Import Wizard - Eases import of external performance log files Report Wizard - Report groups and report definition can now be defined through an intuitive Report Wizard.

Customizable Metrics - Further enhancing the product flexibility, this feature enables users to create their own SNMP or service metric to provide support for user-specific SLA reporting.

New Service Metrics - Unicenter Service Level Management now support more CA Unicenter Agents 'out of the box' including Unicenter Web Management, Windows 2000, SAP/R3, and MS Exchange Agents.

Metric Charter - An advanced visualization and analyzing tool for service management metrics.

Extended Platform and Database Support - Equivalent functionality is now available irrespective of platform of choice. Unicenter Service Level Management supports Unix (IBM AIX, HP-UX & Sun Solaris) Red Hat Linux and Windows NT/2000.

Performance & Scalability Enhancements - Unicenter Service Level Management incorporates new performance & technology enhancements including support for 64-bit Ingres Database (in addition to support for MS-SQL7/2000).
