With Unicenter Service Desk r11.x all the components of Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools (KT) are delivered with Unicenter Service Desk. Customers who install Unicenter Service Desk will receive a free 30 day trial of Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools, if Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools is not purchased and licensed within 30 days Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools will be turned off and the included Keyword Search product will become available. Knowledge documents previously created will be available but the advanced features of Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools will no longer exist. At any time a Unicenter Service Desk customer can purchase Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools and use all of the full knowledge management lifecycle capabilities of Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools.

Because of the tight integration and shared architecture, the software and documentation for Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools r11.x is delivered with Unicenter Service Desk. Therefore customers do not need to download the software or documentation separately from supportconnect.ca.com.

If you already have Unicenter Service Desk r11.x please contact your account team to purchase Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools. If you own both Unicenter Service Desk and Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools but do not have a Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools license, please contact CA Total License Care to acquire the appropriate license. Once you apply this license, the advanced knowledge management features of Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools will turn on automatically.
