Be Involved! CA Service Desk "Wish List" Prioritization has Started

The CA Service Support Product Line Community (PLC) is currently in the process of reviewing a consolidated list of customer enhancement requests for Unicenter Service Desk and Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools. T he prioritization process begins on July 9th and only registered members of the PLC will be able to vote. Please sign up for the Service Support PLC immediately to be involved in this process at www.causergroups.com. If you are already a member and are not aware of the process please access the PLC web site to review the web cast and enhancement list.

Product Line Community (PLC) Overview

A Product Line Community (PLC) is a global virtual CA customer community focused on a set of CA technologies. The PLC provides a forum for bilateral communication enhancing the users' experience while leveraging CA technology. A PLC is an extension of regional user groups & the broader CA customer base. PLCs and regional user groups offer an avenue to receive information from R&D, provide feedback regarding product development and to network with peers.

Service Support PLC

The Service Support PLC covers the following products Unicenter Service Desk, Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools, Unicenter Service Desk Dashboard, CA CMDB and CA SupportBridge. Any customer who has one or more of these products can join the PLC.

The Enhancement Request Review and Prioritization Process

All customer enhancement requests that were added to the "wish list" within the past year have been added to a consolidated list and given to the PLC. PLC members received this list a week ago and then were able to ask questions on a web cast on Tuesday June 26th. Members now have just over a week to further review and discuss these requests before the online prioritization process begins. From July 9th to July 19th members can login to an online survey tool to select their top enhancements for Unicenter Service Desk and Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools. Results will be communicated to the PLC via a web cast in mid-August. This prioritized list will be used to plan future releases of these two products. This is a great opportunity for customers to share their challenges and needs for the products with CA Development and Product Management.
