Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. At this time we would like to take this opportunity to review the support schedule for currently supported releases of Unicenter Job Management for OpenVMS, formerly known as ScheduleIT.

With the availability of Unicenter Job Management for OpenVMS, r3.0, support for the following product is scheduled to be discontinued as of July 31, 2006:

  • Unicenter Job Management for OpenVMS r2.4, genlevel 0000
  • ScheduleIT V2.4
  • All releases (2.2, 2.4, & 2.4.2) and service packs of Unicenter TNG for OpenVMS, Workload Components only. The Workload components are: Workload Manager and Workload Agent.

In addition the following versions of the OpenVMS operating system are no longer supported by this release.

OpenVMS VAX & Alpha 7.1 and all minor revisions.

OpenVMS VAX & Alpha 7.2 and all minor revisions.

If you have not yet upgraded to Unicenter Job Management for OpenVMS r3.0, we urge you to do so as soon as possible so you can take full advantage of the latest new features and enhancements this release has to offer. CA would like to help make your upgrade to the latest release of Unicenter Job Management for OpenVMS as straightforward and successful as possible. Therefore to assist you, we are offering the following:

  • A no-charge software upgrade is available to Unicenter Job Management for OpenVMS, r3.0 for any customer with an active maintenance contract for Unicenter Job Management, ScheduleIT or Unicenter TNG for OpenVMS.

You can also download the upgrade at SupportConnect using electronic delivery. If you need additional information on the upgrade, contact your local account representative.
