Unicenter 3.1 Network and Systems Management has been certified on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 10.0 x86_64 kernel 2.6.16.21-0.8

The following components have been certified:

• caiUxOs
• caiLogA2
• proAgent
• Performance Agents (hpaAgent, prfAgent)
• Event Agent
• Job Management Agent (without ENF)

Unicenter 3.1 Network and Systems Management 0403 plus fixes are required for Linux x86_64 SLES 10.0 support. Please open an issue with support to obtain any required fixes.

Note: This certification covers the AMD64 and EM64T chipsets. Although the operating system is 64 bit, Unicenter 3.1 Network and Systems Management is a 32 bit application.

It is essential that the documentation for each fix be reviewed to determine the nature of the fix, the install instructions and any necessary prereq and coreq fixes.

Note: SLES 10 ships Xen virtualization software. NSM 3.1 can coexist with Xen on a SLES 10 system. However, NSM/Xen support is still being reviewed (i.e. installing NSM on a Xen based Windows/Linux virtual system).

Unicenter Remote Monitoring 3.1 SP1 0506 Agent plus fixes are required for SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 10.0 x86_64 support.
