Today we are pleased to announce the general availability of the Unicenter NSM Script Agent r11.x.

The Script Agent is a simple, lightweight Agent Technology Agent that:

• Schedules and executes custom scripts/.exes and derives status based on their output or return code .
• Lets you use whatever scripting tool you wish.
• Enables you to leverage your existing business logic (scripts, .exes) for rapid integration to NSM.
• Creates a single, well defined entry point into NSM.
• Enables us to track state, generate events and alerts, maintain WV objects, and build BPV's once a script is ‘managed' by the Script Agent.
• Is quick and easy to configure and maintain with a short learning curve.
