Thank you for ordering Unicenter TNG 2.4.2. Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) is proud of the ongoing product development, customer support, and maintenance programs that we offer. As part of these programs, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Unicenter TNG 2.4.2 is the latest maintenance release available for Unicenter TNG 2.4.

Unicenter TNG 2.4.2 is currently available on the following platforms:

• Windows NT and Windows 2000
• IBM AIX
• HP-UX
• Solaris
• NetWare
• AS/400
• Compaq NonStop Himalaya (Tandem)

The Unicenter TNG 2.4.2 product box contains separate CD ROM installation media for each of the platforms listed above - with the exception of the AS/400 and Netware platforms, which share a single CD ROM. Each CD ROM in the box is clearly labeled with its corresponding platform(s) so that you can easily identify which CD ROM you will need to use for your particular installation.

With the Unicenter TNG 2.4.2 media it is possible to do a fresh installation onto a clean system, to install Unicenter TNG 2.4.2 over an existing Unicenter TNG 2.4 installation, or to upgrade a system from Unicenter TNG 2.2 or Unicenter TNG 2.1.

Unicenter TNG 2.4.2 will also be made available for Compaq Tru64 UNIX, Linux, Sinix, Dynix, Unixware and NCR MPRAS in the near future. Please check supportconnectw.ca.com for notification of such new platform availability for TNG 2.4.2.
