The PowerQuest virtual floppy in combination with a Software Delivery package can then be used to execute DOS-mode tools on a remote computer. For example, you can upgrade the BIOS or even change a partition using tools like PQDISK from PowerQuest.

4 Personality Migration

You can now create the appropriate DM scripts to run Desktop DNA using Unicenter Software Delivery. Desktop DNA, a solution from Miramar Systems, Inc. (http://www.miramar.com/), manages the migration of user profiles from Windows NT Server 4.0 domains to Windows Server 2003 Active Directory.

5 BrightStor Mobile Backup Integration

BrightStor Mobile Backup currently provides its components in form of Software Delivery packages. These packages can be registered to Unicenter Software Delivery and installed using Unicenter Software Delivery. In case the BMB Client has been distributed and installed using Software Delivery packages, it will be automatically installed by RAC after a system crash.

6 Hiding UNIX Samba Shares SDLIB and MSILIB

Starting with Unicenter Software Delivery 4.0 SP1, UNIX Samba shares SDLIB and MSILIB (if enabled) are hidden by setting the Browse Option, browseable, to No.
