Agent for z/OS version 3.4 is Generally Available

Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) is pleased to announce that Unicenter Management for WebSphere MQ Agent for z/OS version 3.4 is Generally Available. If you are using Unicenter Management for WebSphere MQ Agent for z/OS 3.3 SP1 or higher, and still current on maintenance, please call 1(800) 637-5858 to receive the upgrade. For clients outside North America, please contact your local Computer Associates Support Center.

What is new in this Release?

• Route Response Time - Unicenter Management for WebSphere MQ Agent z/OS can monitor channel connections (routes) between two or more queue managers across 1 or more platforms, and alert you when performance drops below established thresholds.
• The ability to display configuration instrumentation events (introduced under MQ 5.3 on z/OS) on the event console. This allows you to monitor true CREATE, DELETE, and CHANGE events.
• We've eliminated the need for the MA1A support pack. The agent and plug-in manager now use the native MQ c++ libraries
