As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that Unicenter Remote Control r11.2 is now available.

Unicenter Remote Control continues to innovate by providing new features that make the product more robust and easier to use. Release 11.2 continues to deliver software aligned with your business objectives, which is imperative when providing a comprehensive Desktop Management strategy.

New features for Unicenter Remote Control r11.2 include:

Linux Manager. The management of remote control settings can be done from a Linux manager.

Area Support Security. Current object-level security is extended to support area, either globally or per security profile.

SmartCard Support. Host authentication from a viewer system using SmartCard technology.

Wake-on-LAN. Allows you initiate the wake up of a machine from the Remote Control Viewer.

Enhanced Security. You now have the choice to protect inter-machine communications with stronger AES encryption as an alternative to the 3TDES encryption used in the previous release.
