  • CA Protection Suites now include the Patch Management utility to simplify the process of applying maintenance updates. The utility is configured from the Server Control Center. Typically, the Patch Management utility applies maintenance updates based on a schedule. However, if the size or installation steps for the update require user intervention, the utility sends an alert to the Server Control Center and provides a link to the details and downloads for these items.


    • Note: The Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware component native Content Update Policy is independent of the Patch Management utility.
