Today, we are pleased to announce that Unicenter Database Management r11.1 has been localized and is now available in English, French, German and Japanese. This major release includes:

• The new Unicenter Database Command Center (Unicenter DCC)
• Unicenter Fast Unload r11.1 for Oracle
• Unicenter TSreorg r11.1 for Oracle
• Unicenter Fast Unload r11.1 for DB2 UDB for Linux, UNIX, Windows

Unicenter DCC is a browser-based multi-database management solution that unifies and simplifies the management of different Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS). Available at "No Charge", and accessible from virtually anywhere without agent installation, customers can perform a variety of database administration operations on mainframe and distributed databases from one console. A consistent look and feel helps you manage different databases with increased productivity, and helps reduce RDBMS complexity and management costs. Unicenter DCC is the central in-context integration point for other CA Unicenter Database Management r11.1 advanced products that can be licensed to enable further capabilities and speed such as:

• High Speed Data Unloading for Oracle with Unicenter Fast Unload r11.1 for Oracle
• Online and Offline Oracle Reorganization with Unicenter TSreorg r11.1 for Oracle
• High Speed Data Unloading Unicenter Fast Unload r11.1 for DB2 UDB for Linux, UNIX, Windows

Existing CA Database Management customers of one of the purchased advanced products will now receive Unicenter DCC as part of their support and maintenance agreements at no extra charge.

Some of the new functionality Unicenter Database Management r11.1 includes:

• Multi-Database Management from a Single Point-of-Control
• Support for DB2 UDB for z/OS, Oracle, Ingres and DB2 UDB for Linux, UNIX, Windows.
• Browser User Interface and Customizable Console
• Integrated Administration Scheduling
• Data Unload for Ingres r3 and Reorg for Ingres r3
