ManageIT Database Administration v3.3

We are pleased to announce the general availability
of ManageIT Database Administration 3.3!

ManageIT Database Administration v3.3 provides
simplified database management activities and
enables enterprise wide database and object
administration tasks on heterogeneous relational
databases across multiple UNIX and Windows NT platforms.
This product provides the DBA the ability to access
all databases from a single client machine.

Features in this release include platform support on:
  • HP/UX 10.2, 11.0 (32 & 64 bit) (11.0 is NEW)

  • AIX 4.1, 4.2, 4.3.x (32 & 64 bit)

  • Solaris 2.5, 2.6.x, 2.7

  • Windows 95 SR2+, Windows 98 (client only)

  • Windows NT 4.0 SP3, SP4, SP5, SP6a (client and agent)

Note that ManageIT Database Administration is
compiled as 32-bit, but has been tested on HP-UX
and AIX 64-bit operating systems.

DBMS support includes:
  • Sybase SQL Server 10, 11.0, 11.5, 11.9 (11.5 & 11.9 are NEW)

  • Informix Dynamic Server 7.x

  • Microsoft SQL Server 6.x (6.5 tolerant)

  • Oracle Server 7.2.x, 7.3.x, 8.0.x (tolerant)

This release also includes a temporary defaults on tables
with not null columns enhancement in Compare strategies
and uses the common installation routine for Enterprise Communicator.
