Computer Associates is committed to providing the best software solutions to our clients.

Fast Load for Sybase is one of these solutions. Fast Load for Sybase is a product that provides high speed data loads into Sybase servers.

In the past few months, as a part of our regular product planning cycle, we’ve reviewed the position of Fast Load for Sybase in the marketplace, both from a sales and technology perspective. In so doing, we’ve discovered that while it still provides useful functions to some clients, its value to most clients and prospective clients in the market has declined significantly over the past few years, due mostly to changes in the technology landscape. We have determined that it is no longer feasible for us to continue investing in new development for Fast Load for Sybase.

As a result of this, Computer Associates has decided to functionally stabilize Fast Load for Sybase at the Release 3.1 level. Functionally stabilizing Fast Load for Sybase means that the product will no longer be enhanced and that maintenance and support for Fast Load for Sybase will continue only through the end of your current maintenance or licensing term.

Sybase bcp, on the other hand, provides similar functionality to Fast Load for Sybase, but utilizes more current technology.
