Service Pack 1 Cumulative Release 2

Dear Valued Customer:

CA is pleased to announce the availability of the latest Cumulative Release (CR) for eTrust Security Command Center r8 SP1 CR2 and eTrust Audit r8 SP1 CR2. This product update is a consolidated patch release that contains all of the patches issued since SP1 CR1.

In addition, a new Reporting Module Product Integration Kit (PIK) for eTrust Security Command Center is available, which provides the following capabilities:

  • The Interactive Report Generator provides for the creation of an SQL query using a graphic interface to search a table collector of events. The query retrieves and reports event counts according to the selection criteria, sorts those counts according to the interface selections, and transforms them into visual graphs.

  • The Reports utility generates dynamic reports using the parameters set in Store Report Credentials utility. Dynamic reports can also be viewed by setting the parameters directly in the Reports utility. Through the Reports utility the following reports are available:

    • Top 20 Events Per Machine

    • Top 20 Events Per User

    • Top 20 Events Per Logname

    • Top 20 Failed Logons Per Machine

    • Top 20 Failed Logons Per User

  • This Product Integration Kit requires SP1 CR2 and is supported for the following Server and Client operating systems:

    • Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition, or Enterprise Edition, with Service Pack 1

    • Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2

    • Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4
