Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In order to effectively support the latest computing environments and those of the future, we continually evaluate our products to determine their strategic direction. In order to focus our development and support efforts on our most strategic business tools we will be dropping support of eTrust Audit 1.2, 1.5, 1.5 SP1.

This means eTrust Audit 1.2, 1.5, 1.5 SP1 will no longer be enhanced and that maintenance and technical support for eTrust Audit 1.2, 1.5, 1.5 SP1 will continue only through October 31 st , 2006 or the end of your current maintenance or licensing term, whichever is later.

eTrust customers currently using eTrust Audit 1.2, 1.5, 1.5 SP1 and who have an active maintenance contract have the opportunity to upgrade to the current version of eTrust Audit. Please note that support for some operating system versions is also being ceased during the same timeframe. Please check the certification matrices on Supportconnect for the current supported platforms http://supportconnectw.ca.com/public/etrust/etrust_audit/infodocs/eaudit-certmat.asp. If you would like assistance with your upgrade, please contact your local sales representative.

CA is committed to providing superior support to our customers using our technology solutions. We are pleased to announce Lifeline Services - an Extended Support Services option from CA designed to extend support for older versions of CA products that have been officially discontinued.
