CA Simplifies Product Names
Beginning January 30, 2007, CA is simplifying its product names. Our intention is to describe our products by what they enable you and your business to accomplish. Some names have already changed; others will change over the next 12-18 months as part of the planned development cycle. There is nothing you need to do. We have established a dedicated site at ca.com/productnames as a resource center where you'll find additional information such as frequently asked questions, customer service numbers, and a list of current product names and former names.

CA ERwin® Data Modeling Suite r7.2 Patch Release 1
On behalf of CA, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly announce and deliver updated releases and maintenance for our products and we are implementing a "Patch Release" mechanism for customers on the r7 series.

This subset will exercise all major areas of product functionality and additional tests will be selected based on the specific issues being resolved for the Patch Release. This approach optimizes the joint goals of providing timely support and a high quality product. All maintenance delivered in patches will be brought forward to the subsequent GA Release.

Be sure to check the Solutions and Patches section or Announcements link on the Product Home Page on SupportConnectSM at supportconnect.ca.com or our new online support system, CA Support Online, at support.ca.com for news of new releases. This month, CA ERwin Data Modeling Suite Patch Release 1 was released. If you have any questions on the new Patch Release, please be sure to Contact Us at CA Technical Support.
