CA Simplifies Product Names
Beginning January 30, 2007, CA is simplifying its product names. Our intention is to describe our products by what they enable you and your business to accomplish. Some names have already changed; others will change over the next 12-18 months as part of the planned development cycle. There is nothing you need to do. We have established a dedicated site at ca.com/productnames as a resource center where you'll find additional information such as frequently asked questions, customer service numbers, and a list of current product names and former names.

Product Tip
In Unicenter® CA-SYSVIEW®, there is always help available if you are looking for anything.

The FINDHELP command searches the help system for a specified text string. The search is performed against a list of predefined help topics. Each help topic corresponds to a HELPLIB member. By default, the list of topics to be searched is contained in the parmlib member TOPICS. The parmlib member TOPICS is also used to generate the TOPICS display command.

The following functions can be performed:
  • Locate all help information for a selected search string
  • Determine the commands that provide information on a desired topic, such as what commands display ALERT information
  • Print selected help topics
This command supports an attention exit to interrupt processing.
