Unicenter® CA-SYSVIEW® r11 SP1 - Now Generally Available
We are pleased to announce the availability of Unicenter CA-SYSVIEW r11 SP1. This service pack includes all maintenance published prior to this date. Installation of this new service pack ensures that your systems are current on maintenance for Unicenter CA-SYSVIEW. When you are ready to receive this update, submit the order form on the product home page at SupportConnectSM or call 1-800-637-5858. For customers outside of North America, please contact your local Customer Support Group.

Unicenter® CA-SYSVIEW® r11.5 - Upcoming Beta
Computer Associates is pleased to announce that Unicenter CA-SYSVIEW Real Time Performance Monitoring and Management r11.5 will be going into Beta testing soon. As a current user of Unicenter CA-SYSVIEW, we invite you to review the enhancements included in the r11.5 release and consider participating in the Beta Testing Program.

Unicenter CA-SYSVIEW r11.5 for z/OS includes the following exciting features:
  • Integration with the IBM Health Checker
  • Support for z/OS 1.7, Transaction Server 3.1, and Websphere MQ version 6
  • Private storage data collection
  • Enhanced IMS Option displays
  • Security administration facilitated by Command Groups
  • Enhanced System Overview Component to include support for IFA processors

IMS Data Loggers
With Unicenter® CA-SYSVIEW® r11 and above, detailed IMS transaction data can be collected by defining IMS Data Loggers. Click here to read an overview of the process of defining and starting an IMS Data Logger.

Product Tip
  • Beginning in Unicenter® CA-SYSVIEW® r11, the data collected by SMF data collection is now being logged to a MVS logstream for online viewing of SMF data which was previously maintained in a data space.
