Lower Cost and Gain Access to your Information with EMC Centera® and CA View®
Does your organization use mainframes to create and process thousands of enterprise documents weekly or even daily? With data growing at a phenomenal rate, and budgets and manpower shrinking almost as quickly, the need to automate and streamline report handling and management is paramount to ensure optimal business operations. In addition, there is a need to meet the ever-growing compliance, rules and regulations. To meet this cost, you need a scalable, extensible solution that can significantly reduce time and resource-intensive manual document management while keeping all your vital fixed content secure, and readily available at a moment's notice.

Immediate access to information can mean the difference between making and breaking a critical sale, confirming the successful completion of a business transaction, or providing critical information in a legal matter. How will your business meet all of the demands for immediate information? Where can you find an enterprise solution that can make reports and documents easily available for customers, managers, employees, and vendors, and understand when and where they need the information?

The experienced technology leaders, EMC and CA, offers a powerful joint solution. CA View is an automated archival and retrieval system that allows immediate and flexible online viewing of mainframe legacy reports. Its repository is also capable of housing many types of open systems documentation, which provides you an easy mechanism to selectively view and manage all types of documents.

CA View integrates with EMC Centera content-addressed storage (CAS) to automate the flow of reports between mainframe and distributed platforms, thereby offering a solution set that grows with your changing business needs. EMC Centera uses content-addressed storage to ensure fast and easy access to your archived information. This assures security at all stages of its lifecycle that is from creation to disposal.
