CA Simplifies Product Names
Beginning January 30, 2007, CA is simplifying its product names. Our intention is to describe our products by what they enable you and your business to accomplish. Some names have already changed; others will change over the next 12-18 months as part of the planned development cycle. There is nothing you need to do. We have established a dedicated site at ca.com/productnames as a resource center where you'll find additional information such as frequently asked questions, customer service numbers, and a list of current product names and former names.

CA Output Management Web Viewer r11 is Now GA
CA is pleased to announce the release of CA Output Management Web Viewer r11. Exciting features in this release include a new GUI and the ability to export text reports to a spreadsheet. CA View® r11 sites can now convert text and AFP reports to PDF format, and add/update report annotations and user comments. CA Dispatch™ sites are now able to recall archived reports from tape and disk and filter report lists to display only the most current document versions. CA Deliver™ 1.7 and CA View® 2.0 - Drop Support Extended to February 28, 2008
CA is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. As a follow-up to our letters regarding End of Service of CA Deliver 1.7,
CA View 2.0, and CA View® PPS Viewing Option for Xerox 1.0, we would like to confirm that support for these releases will be discontinued as of February 28, 2008:

Downloading Product Maintenance for CA DRAS and Other Free Product Components
The Enterprise Report Management suite contains free product components that provide or enhance the functionality associated with the primary product. CA DRAS and CA OM Web Services are components of CA OM Web Viewer, and CA LPR is a component of CA LPD and CA Spool.

To easily find maintenance downloads on SupportConnect^SM for free product components, select the primary product that contains the free component from the Product Download Page at: supportconnect.ca.com/sc/support/eproducts?action=search. When the CA OM Web Viewer product, for example, is downloaded from the Product Download page, the files required to install CA DRAS are in the zip file with CA OM Web Viewer and its associated components. To download CA DRAS fixes, select CA OM Web Viewer as the product and select DRAS as the component.

Know Your CA Deliver™ History
Basic history line and page count are often used to record chargeback for accounting systems. This document describes a new CA Deliver initialization parameter, HISTCNT.
