Announcing Unicenter® NetMaster™ Network Management for TCP/IP r11.5

Release 11.5 of Unicenter NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP became generally available on December 13, 2006. In this month's E-News, we review the functionality in this release with updated preview articles that originally appeared in the March and April editions of E-News.

The highlight of r11.5 is SmartTrace, a sophisticated new TCP/IP packet tracing application that delivers unprecedented levels of functionality in an easy to use package. SmartTrace promises to be the most advanced TCP/IP packet tracing tool ever seen on mainframe systems.

In addition to SmartTrace, r11.5 delivers a number of new and enhanced capabilities aimed at improving the usability and efficiency of TCP/IP performance monitoring and connection diagnosis, as well as usability enhancements.
