Using Auto Discovery to Create IP Resources
NetMaster™ for TCP/IP comes with a feature that allows the product to discover IP resources automatically. The resources that are discovered in this way become the resources that will be monitored by the product. Typically, auto discovery is kicked off during initial region initialization, but it is important to note that auto discovery can be initiated at any time. Additionally, auto discovery can be customized to discover only the class of resources that users want to monitor.

For more information, read the Auto Discovery article.
