eSupport Site Shutdown Scheduled
eSupport Site Shutdown Scheduled

If you are still using eSupport, we encourage you to move to SupportConnectSM by
December 6, 2004. SupportConnect offers easy access to the latest product support information and software updates on the web - through access to online knowledge bases and forums, software downloads, issue management options, and other self-service features. Check out a summary of the latest SupportConnect upgrades.

If you have an enterprise eSupport user account, you can convert it to SupportConnect by using the conversion link at the bottom of the SupportConnect home page.

eSupport users with Basic accounts should fill out the New User enrollment form using the link in the SupportConnect login box. You will be emailed an activation link in a matter of minutes.

CA is pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of Unicenter CA-Scheduler Job Management r9.1, an integral component of the job management solutions we provide for the z/OS.e, z/OS, and OS/390 operating systems.

Unicenter® Enterprise Job Manager r1.0 SP2 Now Available
CA proudly announces the general availability (GA) of Unicenter Enterprise Job Manager r1.0 SP2. Unicenter Enterprise Job Manager is a web-based interface for Unicenter® Job Management engines that provides end-to-end visualization of business processes across multiple platforms. Using leading-edge portal technology, it enables administration, visualization, and monitoring of multi-platform job management from a business-relevance perspective.

New Features at a Glance

In addition to the features provided in SP1, SP2 provides:
  • Support for Unicenter® AutoSys® Job Manager 4.5 Remote Command Service (RCS) component and eTrust™ Access Control security
  • Support for printing graphical views (Administration Flow View, Administration Requirements View, BSV Monitoring BSV Flow View, BSV Monitoring Job Flow View, BSV Monitoring Job Map View)

Unicenter® Job Management Adapter for SAP r3.2 SP1 Now Available
Unicenter Job Management Adapter for SAP is a universal adapter that allows any CA scheduling product to run in a SAP environment. Unicenter Job Management Adapter for SAP r3.2 SP1 combines the scheduling functions of Unicenter® Management for SAP r3.1 and Unicenter® AutoSys® Job Management Adapter for SAP r2.1.

This solution helps companies deliver on their goal of seamless business process automation across heterogeneous computing environments and provides the following additional benefits:
  • Enables centralized control of job scheduling
  • Offers job dependencies across Oracle and non-Oracle applications
  • Simplifies job management for Oracle environments
  • Enables customers to keep and extend their current Unicenter AutoSys Job Management installations to their Oracle-based data warehouse installations
Additionally, the Unicenter AutoSys Job Management Adapter for Oracle Warehouse Builder becomes increasingly important as Oracle continues to integrate business intelligence into the backbone of its applications. Featuring Universal Adapter technology, it lets you schedule the start of Oracle Concurrent Programs, monitor job progress, record Oracle Application phases and statuses, or stop jobs using the sophisticated and reliable job scheduling capabilities of any CA distributed or mainframe job management engine. In addition, you can incorporate Oracle Application jobs into any other work flow for efficient management.

Unicenter Network and Systems Management (Unicenter NSM) Job Management Option 3.1 has been certified on HP Itanium 11.23.

Unicenter NSM Job Management Option 3.1 plus the following fixes are required for HP Itanium 11.23 support.
