General Information
What is the Maximum Number of Lock Lists (list_limit) Allowed for an Advantage™ Ingres® 2.6 Installation (and Ingres® r3) and How is it Calculated?
In a very large installation (16 DBMS servers each with 600 concurrent sessions), ingstart fails with:

E_DMA000 Configuration value for the LLB table in locking system is too high. You requested 96200 LLB structures, but the maximum value currently supported is 65535. You must reconfigure your system to request a smaller value. Click here for explanation.

Advantage™ OpenROAD® 4.1 and Windows XP Service Pack 2 Compatibility
To maximize security for client workstations, Windows XP SP2 installs with extremely restrictive default settings. These restrictive defaults effectively disable access to the Advantage™ OpenROAD® Server on that Windows XP machine.
