An Update on the Ingres® Open Source Project
At caworldSM 2004 in May, we announced that we would be contributing Ingres to open source within 90 days. The reaction to this announcement has been fantastic and we are happy to announce that the Ingres Open Source Project went live on August 4. The Ingres team at CA has built a project site at ca.com/opensource/ingres, so why not stop by today and join the open source revolution.

A table is > 2 GB. Only one physical device is available. Is it possible to partition it as two logical devices, defining Ingres® locations on these two devices and then splitting my table across these two locations on the same physical disk?
