Tuple Identifiers (TIDs) in Advantage™ Ingres® Enterprise Relational Database
Every row in a table has a unique tuple identifier or TID. A TID consists of the row's page number and row offset. It is therefore a calculated value, dependent on the row's position in the table and not stored with the row. This document explains how they are derived and why they can change.

Further details are available on SupportConnect.

Webcast: Advantage™ Ingres® Enterprise Relational Database Licensing
As you all probably know, CA has changed the way we license our software to better reflect our business model. As part of this licensing overhaul, we have made specific changes to the CA licensing mechanism in direct response to feedback received from our Advantage Ingres and Advantage™ OpenROAD® Development customers. We understand that you don't want your license tied to a specific machine, so we've removed that restriction. We understand that your Advantage Ingres server should never fail because of a problem with licensing, so we've redesigned that, too. These are just some of the changes that have been incorporated into Advantage™ Ingres® 2.6 and will be available shortly in a service pack for Ingres II 2.5 and Ingres II 2.0.
