CA IDMS™ Education Survey
We would like your help! Please take a few minutes to complete the CA IDMS training survey. We want to hear your ideas in order to deliver the most effective CA IDMS training consistent with your needs.

Everyone who completes the survey can choose one of the following "thank you" gifts: a

CA IDMS™ r17 - Now Recruiting Development Buddies
CA IDMS r17 is the next major release planned for CA IDMS. We are actively recruiting customers to participate in the Development Buddy program. By participating in the Development Buddy program, you will get early access to CA IDMS r17 with an opportunity to provide feedback before the features are frozen. You can join the Development Buddy program by clicking here. The CA IDMS Roadmap provides a high-level overview of the features planned for CA IDMS r17.

CA IDMS™ Server r16.1 - Beta in Progress
CA IDMS Server r16.1 is currently in beta. Features included in this release are SSL support, IPv6 support, external identity auditing, support for primary and foreign key metadata functions, and enhanced support of the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. Check the CA IDMS Server r16.1 Beta Website for information about this beta program.

CA IDMS™ Modernization On-Demand Webcast
CA IDMS Modernization is a topic that is generating considerable interest. Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) offer opportunities to reuse your existing CA IDMS enterprise data and business logic for new enterprise applications. In this on-demand webcast, you will learn techniques for opening access to CA IDMS assets through methods such as views, language extensions, procedures, and referential sets. IUA Workshop
The IUA Fall Workshop will be held at the CA Herndon, Virginia Learning Center from Monday, October 22, 2007, through noon on Wednesday, October 24, 2007. The workshop costs $249.00 USD.

Three tracks are planned: Application Programming, Database Administration, and IDMS Modernization.

The workshop will include presentations by experienced users of CA IDMS™, CA development and support staff, and a Product Direction Forum with CA executives.

The IUA is pleased to announce that John Cullinane will be the keynote speaker. John will bring us perspective from the past and insight on his vision about modernizing your CA IDMS systems.

A new CA IDMS/DB Database Boot Camp for the Advanced DBA course has recently been added to the CA IDMS education curriculum.
