New Solution: Announcing eTrust™ Identity and Access Management Suite
Announcing eTrust Identity and Access Management Suite, a complete, standards-based solution for automating and integrating identity and access management across enterprise, customer, and partner environments. eTrust Identity and Access Management Suite empowers organizations to manage growing internal and external user populations, secure an increasingly complex array of resources and services, and comply with critical regulatory mandates. It integrates virtually all aspects of managing user identities and controlling user access at the server level. eTrust Identity and Access Management Suite is the first solution to bring provisioning, enforcement, and auditing together with a common architecture and shared administrative interface. It consists of six modular components:

We are now inviting our customers to participate in the beta programs listed below so that you can validate CA's solutions in your own environment. In addition, we are seeking your feedback on the product enhancements, quality, and the beta program itself.

Your contribution to the beta program is directly related to the success of the GA release of eTrust™ products. In addition, it helps ensure CA delivers solutions that are ready to meet your real-world requirements.

  • eTrust™ CA-ACF2® Security Option for DB2 Release 1.2 beta program is looking for candidates. For more information, visit:

  • eTrust™ Antivirus 7.1. eTrust Antivirus provides enterprise-class protection against virtually all forms of costly virus and malware attacks - from the perimeter to the PDA - including virus protection for desktops and servers, PDAs, groupware (Lotus Notes/Domino and Microsoft Exchange mail servers), and the gateway. It helps you reduce virus infections, simplifies and automates updating, eases administration, and, when used for protection at the gateway, safeguards your enterprise from viruses and malicious code before they can enter your network. Dual virus-scanning engines provide double the protection and superior management offers cost-effective protection against potentially damaging and costly virus incidents. eTrust Antivirus v7.1 is available for beta testing on the following platforms:
    • HP-UX 11.0 11i
    • Linux for System 390
    • Windows 64-bit
    • NetApps Filer

  • eTrust™ Admin Option for PeopleSoft Feed v2. eTrust Admin Option for PeopleSoft Feed allows you to synchronize PeopleSoft users with eTrust Admin global users. Through role-based administration, you can automatically manage the PeopleSoft accounts required in today's complex environments. In addition, this option automatically:
    • Creates, modifies, or deletes global users and associated accounts (if role-based administration is used)
    • Generates batch report requests
    eTrust Admin Option for PeopleSoft Feed v2 builds on a tradition of excellence for automating user account administration. This release takes that automation to the next level, providing seamless integration with PeopleSoft HR. In addition, eTrust Admin Option for PeopleSoft Feed v2 now makes immediate updates to user accounts on any system or application as soon as an entry is made in PeopleSoft HR. This option also includes new tools for easy set, a new configuration wizard that allows administrators to easily map data fields in the PeopleSoft HR database with their corresponding attributes on the global users in eTrust Admin, and business transformation logic that is used to identify users' roles without any need to write code.   • eTrust™ Single Sign-On 7.0. eTrust Single Sign-On enhances overall enterprise security by automating access to all authorized Web services and enterprise-wide applications through a single login. This powerful solution eliminates the need to remember multiple sign-on processes, user IDs, or passwords, and improves productivity by providing users and customers with instant access to their own personalized resources. CA has expanded the product to provide more flexible and efficient administration. Some of the new and updated product features include:
    • Session management: allows administrators to control and view who is currently logged on to eTrust Single Sign-On.
    • Metaframe application migration: enables users to move between workstations while keeping metaframe-hosted application sessions.
    • Application list refresh: allows changes to a user's application list by an administrator on the eTrust Single Sign-On policy server to be dynamically picked up by the eTrust Single Sign-On client.
    • eTrust™ Audit integration: the eTrust Single Sign-On policy server now logs to eTrust Audit for improved central logging and reporting.
    • Shared workstations: additional support for use of eTrust Single Sign-On on workstations used by many users.
    • New architecture and improved interface: a policy server replaces the eTrust Single Sign-On Server and the eTrust Single Sign-On Policy Manager program replaces the eTrust Single Sign-On Assistant program. In addition, eTrust Directory is automatically installed - allowing user information to be stored in a X.500 directory.
    • Unicenter TNG® Single Sign-On Option migration: Unicenter TNG Single Sign-On Option users can now seamlessly migrate to eTrust Single Sign-On.
    • New LDAP authentication agent: allows authentication to be made to any LDAP X.500 data store, such as Active Directory or eTrust Directory.
