Unicenter® Asset Management AppDef Revision 57
The Unicenter Asset Management Content Team is pleased to announce the release of AppDef Revision 57.

IMPORTANT: In order to import the current revision to r4.0, the following two criteria must be met:

  1. Apply Unicenter Asset Management Console Cumulative Fix QO65962.
To accommodate the growing volume of Application Definitions included in recent revisions, the Sustaining Engineering team has included enhanced download functionality in the recently developed Unicenter Asset Management Console Cumulative Fix QO65962. As the volume of this revision exceeds the capacity of currently un-patched installations, it is strongly recommended that administrators review this fix for internal distribution at their earliest convenience, and apply to all Asset Management Console nodes prior to performing download. Refer to Cumulative Fix QO65962 documentation.

  2. Perform Software Normalization Procedures.
Administrators that have not already upgraded beyond AppDef Release 30 are required to perform the Software Normalization Procedures in order to upgrade to the current revision. For continuous successful updates, administrators must follow these procedures, which outline the recommended strategies for backing up custom application definitions, removing dated or non-conforming entries, and importing the normalized definitions. Refer to the instructions for the required Software Normalization procedures.
