Unicenter® Desktop DNA® r11 SP2
CA is pleased to announce the general availability of Unicenter Desktop DNA r11 SP2, the newest release for managing your enterprise's PC "DNA", that is, system and application settings, network and printer settings, data files and folders, email address books, preferences, and so on.

Unicenter Desktop DNA r11 SP2 includes a new seamless integration with Unicenter® Software Delivery (r4.0 and r11) that further enhances your ability to automate the processes of upgrading and replacing PC's with little or no end-user downtime.

Migration performance improvements are also included that significantly decrease the amount of time it will take you to migrate your PCs, whether you are performing a real-time or a deferred migration.

Unicenter Desktop DNA already offers an impressive feature set, providing total control over PC events throughout the PC's lifecycle. It includes a flexible and powerful set of automation tools that manage any enterprise migration scenario required. With an automated PC DNA management process integrated with Software Delivery, you can create a tested, repeatable, proven migration methodology with reliable results.

Unicenter® Asset Intelligence r11.1
CA is pleased to announce the general availability of Unicenter Asset Intelligence r11.1, the latest release of intelligence for effective decision support. Unicenter Asset Intelligence (UAI) automatically converts raw asset data from Unicenter Asset Management into actionable intelligence so you can quickly and easily make informed business decisions about your IT assets. With complete and accurate IT asset information shown through an intuitive interface, Unicenter Asset Intelligence helps you pinpoint areas of concern and identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and cost savings.

Unicenter Asset Intelligence r11.1 delivers compatibility with Unicenter® Desktop and Server Management r11.1, and its ability to use the MS SQL database server as the CA Management Database (MDB). In addition to MS SQL support, UAI also includes the following roll-up patches:

  • T1B1358 - Post SP1 Cumulative
  • T1B1361 - Truncation Error Processing Login ID
  • T1B1364 - Non-Fatal Bulk Insert Error Terminates Collection
Notes about the installation: Unicenter Asset Intelligence r11.1 is considered a base release, and will require that any previous versions are uninstalled. Because of this, the UAI installer will not provide the option to upgrade an existing installation.

Note about support: Versions of Unicenter Asset Intelligence that were released prior to r11.1 will no longer be supported.
