Unicenter® Asset Management r4.0 AppDef Revision 63
The CA Content Team is pleased to announce the release of AppDef Revision 63.

Key Components/Features Added

  • Application Definitions to track the Vulnerable BrightStor® ARCserve® Backup Components as per the below Security Notice: supportconnectw.ca.com/public/storage/infodocs/babsecurity-notice.asp.
  • Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft HD Photo Device Porting Kit v1.0, and Microsoft IntelliPoint 6.1
  • Adobe GoLive CS2, Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2, ImageReady CS2, and Version Cue CS2
  • IBM Lotus Domino Server and Notes Client 6.5.4
  • Veritas Backup Exec 10.0 for Windows Servers, Hummingbird Exceed 2006
  • Utilities - Stuffit Standard 9, X-Win32, Virtual CD v8, SnagIt and ImgBurn
IMPORTANT: In order to import the current revision to Asset Management r4.0, it is mandatory for Administrators to (1) apply Cumulative Fix QO81414 to all Asset Management Console nodes, and (2) perform the Software Normalization procedures posted on SupportConnectSM.

Direct access to the links referenced above may be routed through the SupportConnect login page if a session is not previously authenticated.

NOTE - This is only for UAM 4.0 installations, whereas DSM r11 installations will download the content automatically through the Software Content Download Job based on their configuration.

Unicenter® Patch Management January Content Release
The CA Content Team is pleased to announce the January (v0701) release of Unicenter Patch Management's Microsoft Security Roll-up Packages is available.

The Roll-up package includes the following new security bulletins:
