CA Responds to Gartner Report
In August 2005, Gartner, Inc., published a research paper that essentially recommended organizations make plans to migrate off CA-Datacom® and other "pre-relational" systems within five years. Unfortunately, the author did not reflect CA's plans and commitment to this market. As a result, we believe that the research paper may be misleading to you.

Gartner gets a lot of attention in the marketplace, and we believe it's important to ensure that you understand the whole picture and are not misled.

CA has written a response to this Gartner report that we would be happy to share with you and your management team. If you would like a copy of CA's response to the Gartner report, please contact Rick Reagan, Product Manager for CA-Datacom, at rick.reagan@ca.com.
