Advantage™ CA-File Master™ Release 3.1 - Coming Soon

As you may have heard, development of Advantage™ CA-File Master™ Release 3.1 is well underway. Release 3.1 is a complete redesign intended to replace Release 2.x. It has been designed with optimal performance in mind and offers significant performance improvements in CPU utilization for both online and batch functions.

Remember to keep checking the Advantage™ CA-File Master™ Technical Support page for information regarding the open beta test program. We will be looking for customers in the near future to beta test this exciting new release and help us bring it into General Availability status.

We are pleased to announce the General Availability of the following product releases:

Customers current on maintenance for the above products should have already received a three-part order form in the mail. If you have not already placed an order for product shipment for any of the above, please contact Technical Support at 1-201-585-6788.

Testing and Fault Management Beta Programs

As a member of a product beta program, you have the unique opportunity to gain early access to new features and enhancements. Your contribution to the release verification process is directly related to the success of the Generally Available release.

z/OS Release Compatibility for
Testing and Fault Management

The Testing and Fault Management z/OS Release Compatibility Chart shows the general status of compatibility as of September 2002. For most products listed, there are direct, embedded links to our web-based StarTCCSM system. After logging in to the system, you should be positioned at the appropriate Upgrade Solution, which contains details on any requirements. You should review the solutions for each of your licensed Computer Associates products for the most current information available prior to your system upgrade.

CustomerConnectSM

CustomerConnectSM is a free customer-service website providing a faster and easier way for you to connect with Computer Associates any time of day or night (24 x 7 x 365). This rich source of product and account information, support services, and online transactions will give you greater hands-on control as you manage your vital software investments.

CustomerConnect is being introduced in phases. The first service, AccountConnectSM, is now available and allows the viewing and updating of account information in real time, including current addresses, product information, hardware, and site and contact information.

Users Group of Testing Tools


Computer Associates believes that our partnership with CA Recognized User Groups is of great importance and we endorse and encourage the formation of user groups, advisory boards, and executive committees. We recognize they play an important role in ensuring active and ongoing communications between our customers and our development and support personnel.
