CA-SymDump/Batch Release 1.0 MVS is GA
=============================================

CA-SymDump/Batch Release 1.0 MVS is now
Generally Available.

CA-SymDump/Batch provides comprehensive abend
diagnostic information for Batch abends in both
test and production environments. Its symbolic
support identifies the source statement in
error after an abend. Data names and their
values are merged into the dump output.
Moreover, detailed database information is
provided for abending applications that access
DB2, IMS, and CA-IDMS.

Building on Unicenter TNG Framework for OS/390
=============================================

Earlier this year, CA sent Unicenter TNG Framework
for OS/390 to all of our OS/390 clients. The
Framework is a no-cost introduction of cross-
platform, object-oriented enabling technology and
services for OS/390. It combines new state-of-
the-art management capabilities provided by
Unicenter TNG services running on OS/390 with
the comprehensive services and utilities formerly
known as CA90s Services, CA-L-Serv, and CA-GSS.

The Framework provides an outstanding foundation
for enterprise management, but where do you start?
How can you exploit the Framework to integrate
your OS/390 solutions with your management
solutions for distributed platforms? How does the
Framework extend your CA OS/390 products to manage
new resources, like Unix System Services (USS)?
What is Discovery? Agent technology? The Real
