CA-Realia II Workbench Release 3.1 is GA
=============================================

We are pleased to announce that the 3.1
Release of CA-Realia II Workbench is now
Generally Available.

CA-Realia II Workbench is a complete PC-based
COBOL development system. It includes a high-
speed 32-bit COBOL compiler, a graphical user
interface that takes advantage of PC
productivity features, a COBOL-intelligent
analyzer, a client/server debugger, an
integrated GUI editor, a CICS development
environment, and a choice of complete life
cycle management tools for source change and
configuration management.

Clients current on maintenance running Release
3.0 will be automatically mass mailed this new
release.

Clients current on maintenance running Release
2.0 and below will receive an announcement with
instructions for upgrading to Release 3.1.

We are also pleased to announce the 3.1 Release
of the CA-Realia II Workbench mainframe options
for OS/390 CICS and OS/390 Batch.

CA-Realia for JCL Release 6.0 is GA
=============================================

CA-Realia for JCL Release 6.0 is now Generally
Available.

CA-Realia for JCL provides an MVS Job Control
Language (JCL) environment on the PC. It allows
you to execute JCL jobstreams as you would on an
OS/390 mainframe, enabling you to offload, debug,
and execute COBOL applications in conjunction
with other CA-Realia products on the PC.

Clients current on maintenance will receive a
letter announcing the new release with details
for upgrading.

CA-Realia for 390 Assembler Release 6.0 BETA
=============================================

CA-Realia for 390 Assembler Release 6.0 will
be available in BETA status in mid-September.

CA-Realia for 390 Assembler is a mainframe-
compatible, PC-based assembler/debugger for
IBM OS/390 basic assembler language (BAL)
programs and subroutines. Programmers can
download OS/390 BAL programs and subroutines
from the mainframe to the PC for debugging
and testing on the PC.

We are currently seeking Beta test sites that
will use CA-Realia for 390 Assembler in
conjunction with CA-Realia II Workbench
Release 3.1.

Clients interested in Beta testing this
release should contact technical support at
