CA-InterTest for CICS Rel. 6.0 BETA
=============================================

CA-InterTest for CICS is the industry standard
for interactive CICS testing and debugging of
applications written in COBOL, PL/I, and
Assembler. We are pleased to announce that
CA-InterTest for CICS Release 6.0 will be
available in BETA status around the August
1st timeframe.

Enhancements for Release 6.0 include:
- Enhanced Support for CICS Transaction Server
  for OS/390 V1.3
- Improved Support for CICS Web Applications
- Automatic Program Variable Display (AUTOKEEP)
- Source Code Coverage
- Enhanced Primary Command Support

CA-SymDump for CICS is a comprehensive online
facility that lets users diagnose CICS
transaction dumps and CICS internal traces.
CA-SymDump for CICS presents dumps in an easy-to-
read source statement format. We are pleased
to announce that CA-SymDump for CICS Release
6.0 will be available in BETA status around
the August 1st timeframe.

Enhancements for Release 6.0 include:

CA-SymDump/System Rel. 1.0 is GA
=============================================

CA-SymDump/System Release 1.0 is now Generally
available.

CA-SymDump/System provides comprehensive
abend diagnostic information for MVS system
abends in both test and production environments.
CA-SymDump/System automatically captures and
reports on all system dumps from any job, with
specific environmental information for MVS,
CICS, MQSeries, JES2, DB2, IMS, CA-Datacom,
and CA-Roscoe. Detailed reports, formatted
storage area, and formatted control blocks
help systems programmers quickly diagnose and
correct problems.

CA-SymDump/Batch Rel. 1.0 BETA
=============================================

CA-SymDump/Batch is currently available in
Beta status.

CA-SymDump/Batch provides comprehensive abend
diagnostic information for Batch abends in both
test and production environments. Its symbolic
support identifies the source statement in
error after an abend. Data names and their
values are merged into the dump output.
Moreover, detailed database information is
provided for abending applications that access
DB2, IMS, and CA-IDMS.

Although the release number is 1.0, this product
is proven technology that has existed for 10
years as part of CA-Optimizer/II.
