TIPS: StarTCC Advanced Search Techniques
=============================================

If you are a StarTCC user, we would like to
let you know about the advanced search
techniques that you may not be using. Browsing
by Product Name may not list all solutions for
a particular product as some CA products
contain shareable components. For example,
CA-InterTest shares components with the
CA-Realia II Workbench Mainframe options.
Therefore, we suggest that you search by
Product Group which will list all solutions
for a product.

There are two advanced search methods by
product group:

1. TO SEARCH BY PRODUCT GROUP ONLY:
From the main StarTCC menu, click on
"Browse/Download Solutions"
Under Search Type, click the radio
button for "Product Group"
On the Product Group drop down box,
select "INTERT - 5.4 - INTERT" for
CA-InterTest Release 5.4
Click the Search button.

2. TO SEARCH BY PRODUCT GROUP WITH KEYWORDS:
From the main StarTCC menu, click on
"Advanced" under Search Knowledge Base
Under Search Type, click the radio
button for "Product Group"
On the Product Group drop down box,
select "INTERT - 5.4 - INTERT" for
CA-InterTest Release 5.4
Type in Keywords -- CICS41 and S0C4
Click the Search button
This should list all solutions for
CICS41 which were reported with the
S0C4 keyword.

We are pleased to announce that CA-InterTest
and CA-SymDump clients can now narrow their
search to a specific release of CICS with
the following new keywords: CICS41, CTS11
(or CICS51), CTS12 (or CICS52), CTS13
(or CICS53).

CA-InterTest Release 5.4 Genlevel 9912
=============================================

The 9912 Genlevel of CA-InterTest
Release 5.4 will be mailed to all active
CA-InterTest Release 5.4 clients by the
end of February.

CA-SymDump Release 5.4 Genlevel 9912
=============================================

The 9912 Genlevel of CA-SymDump
Release 5.4 will be mailed to all active
CA-SymDump Release 5.4 clients by the
end of February.

CA-Filesave/RCS Release 3.6 Genlevel 9911
=============================================

The 9912 Genlevel of CA-Filesave/RCS
Release 3.6 will be mailed to all active
CA-Filesave/RCS Release 3.6 clients
by the end of February.
