Writing Advantage™ CA-Earl® Report Requests - Using TAG and SELECT to Control Printing of Entire Lines
Have you ever wanted to create a non-tabular report such as an invoice or cover letter, where some lines may contain different information, depending on some other data value or sequencer? To produce such a non-tabular report, use the TAG and SELECT processing techniques demonstrated in this article.

BACKCICS Utility to Backup Advantage™ CA-Ramis® Databases in CICS
While Advantage CA-Ramis databases must be backed up using the Advantage CA-Ramis BACKUP utility, the BACKUP utility is not permitted when any concurrent user or batch job has acquired a lock on the database. There may be occasions when a backup is desired for a database that is open in an active CICS region, such as for those applications that need
24-by-7 availability. A special utility, BACKCICS, is provided to allow for this. Read this article for more information.
