How to Purge the %AttDatatype Macro From Your AllFusion® ERwin® Data Model
The %AttDatatype macro is a legacy ERwin r3.5.2 macro. Two new macros, %AttDatatype and %ColumnDatatype, were introduced in AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler 4.x. These macros serve a similar purpose, but their names are more appropriate and meaningful in terms of their function. AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler users should be aware of the difference between these macros and follow the recommended usage. If the %AttDatatype macro exists in your models, it may be beneficial to remove it to reduce confusion. Click here for suggestions about why and how to do this.

Reverse Engineering DB2 UDB 8 Container Information in AllFusion® ERwin® Data Modeler r4.1.4 SP3
AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler r4.1.4 SP3 now supports the ability to reverse engineer DB2 UDB 8 Container information. To perform the reverse engineering, AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler needs different permissions than you may have used in the past. AllFusion® Repository for z/OS Webstation Option Search Objects for AllFusion® Repository ERwin® Metadata
Repository for z/OS Webstation Option (WSO) search objects to view the content of an AllFusion Repository ERwin model prior to loading it into the repository?

Three search objects can be added to the repository to allow you to view the data in the worktables. The AllFusion® ERwin® Data Modeling tool itself can be launched from AllFusion Repository for z/OS WSO for a particular model. All objects, properties, and text that are loaded into the repository can be displayed.

AllFusion® Harvest Change Manager Takes First Place in Two Categories in Intelligent Enterprise's 2005 Readers' Choice Awards
CA announced that CA Business Service Optimization and Enterprise Systems Management solutions have won Intelligent Enterprise's 2005 Readers' Choice Awards. AllFusion Harvest Change Manager came in first place in two categories; Best Application Change Management Toolset and Best Enterprise Application Management. CA also won in the Best IT Systems Management Tool (Unicenter® Network and Systems Management), and tied with Microsoft and Oracle for Best Business Process Management (CleverPath™ Aion®) System.
