The CA Change Manager Enterprise Workbench team recently announced the General Availability (GA) of CA Change Manager Enterprise Workbench r7.1. For features and highlights of this release, read the CA Change Manager Enterprise Workbench Data Sheet.

When you are ready to obtain the update to this release, choose one of the following methods of ordering:

  • Download your copy of CA Change Manager Enterprise Workbench using SupportConnectSM or place your order by submitting a CA Change Manager Enterprise Workbench r7.1 online order form located on the CA Change Manager Enterprise Workbench SupportConnect product home page.
  • Call the CA Orders Department at 1-800-841-8743.
  • Contact your local Customer Representative.
For customers outside North America, contact your local CA Support Center to determine general availability of this new maintenance release.

Eclipse r3.2 Support Now Available for CA Harvest Change Manager Plug-in for Eclipse
The CA Harvest Change Manager team recently announced the General Availability (GA) of update releases 7.20.1, 6.20.1, and 5.20.1 of the CA Harvest Change Manager Plug-in for Eclipse. CA Harvest Change Manager Plug-in for Eclipse release 7.20.1 additionally includes support for the newest version of Eclipse, release 3.2. This release suite contains a plug-in version for Eclipse 3.1/3.2, 3.0, and 2.1. These plug-ins are compatible with both AllFusion Harvest Change Manager r7 Patch 4 and CA Harvest Change Manager r7.1 Patch 1.
  • For Eclipse 3.1 or 3.2, install the CA Harvest Change Manager Plug-in for Eclipse
    release 7.20.1.
  • For Eclipse 3.0, install the CA Harvest Change Manager Plug-in for Eclipse
    release 6.20.1.
  • For Eclipse 2.1, install the CA Harvest Change Manager Plug-in for Eclipse
    release 5.20.1.

AllFusion® Repository Products Suite
AllFusion® Repository for z/OS r7 New Features
AllFusion Repository for z/OS r7 has completed beta testing. CA will announce its General Availability (GA) in the coming weeks. New features highlighted in this release include several core repository enhancements including support for audit attributes on text tables, easier upgrades for system libraries, and the use of PDSE data sets. Also featured are new metadata exchanges for XML DTD's and ODBC as well as upgrades to several other exchanges including DB2, UDB, Microsoft SQL Server, and AllFusion® ERwin® Data Modeler. Additionally, support for IBM DB2 v8 is introduced with this release, enabling organizations to exploit the advantages of the most current DB2 relational database.

The AllFusion Repository continues to help many organizations manage enterprise metadata effectively, contributing substantially to our customers' efforts to transform their IT management. For more information about these new features, see the AllFusion Repository r7 beta data sheet.

AllFusion® CA-InterTest® Batch r8 is Now in Beta Status
AllFusion CA-InterTest Batch, a source-level application debugging tool for batch, IMS/DC, and DB2 Stored Procedures, is now beta and available for testing.

The features for AllFusion CA-InterTest Batch r8 include powerful new integration with CA Endevor® Change Manager; support for 64-bit storage allowing users to view, format, and modify data above the line, as well as reference such data items in conditional breakpoints; the ability to view values of application data fields when stepping back through previously executed statements, and much more.
