Creating Manual Pages for AllFusion® Harvest Change Manager UNIX/Linux CLI Utilities
UNIX and Linux system vendors provide online documentation for their systems in the form of "man" (manual) pages. However, many third party software products, AllFusion Harvest Change Manager (CM) included, do not provide man pages but instead provide documentation in other formats. Still, some users would prefer to see man pages for all of the software they use. An AllFusion Harvest CM administrator may find that her UNIX/Linux users want man pages for the Harvest CLI utilities. This article describes a technique for generating simple man pages by capturing the AllFusion Harvest CM CLI "-h" help text into man page source files.

Create Your Own Custom Enterprise Package Report
AllFusion® Change Manager Enterprise Workbench r7 offers an Enterprise Reporter feature called "Report Builder." The Report Builder feature provides a wizard to guide the user in defining a report. The user can define such things as Report Style, Layout, Type and data content. The user is able to view the report and make changes prior to finalizing. The report can be easily added to the Enterprise Reports page which enables the report to be run when desired. This article provides details on how to create a custom report using the Report Builder.

AllFusion® Repository Products Suite
AllFusion® Repository for z/OS r7 Beta Program Begins April 2006
The AllFusion Repository for z/OS Beta Program starts April 2006. The product team will continue to accept enrollment for the AllFusion Repository for z/OS r7 beta program until the end of April 2006. As a participant in this beta program, you will have the opportunity to gain early access to new features and enhancements, contributing directly to the success of this highly anticipated release. We measure our success on customer satisfaction, and active input from beta sites is a key requirement in the product release cycle.

Product highlights for AllFusion Repository for z/OS r7 include several core repository enhancements - support for audit attributes on text tables, ability to have an audit trail using history tables and triggers, easier upgrades for system libraries, and the use of PDSE data sets. New metadata exchanges for XML DTD's and ODBC as well as upgrades to several other exchanges, including DB2, UDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and AllFusion® Erwin® Data Modeler are also featured in the new release.
