The new release includes a wide range of enhancements that simplify management of data, tighten security and speed recovery of data. Some of the new key features included in this release are:

• Simplified management with a new Centralized Management Architecture for protecting data across multiple servers and locations. This capability delivers greater operational efficiency for managing both local and remote backup though a single console.
• Integration with the latest replication, failover, continuous data protection (CDP) and server virtualization technologies for comprehensive data protection.
• Enhancements to VMware & SharePoint integration provide increased levels of data protection and backup efficiency.
• Enhanced FIPS Certified AES 256 bit encryption provides three (3) locations to perform encryption and now lets you meet your data security requirements with confidence. This enhancement fortifies security against data security breaches thus reducing your business risk.
• Remote Office/Branch Office (ROBO) Protection with tape-Less backup support for data consolidation and risk avoidance associated with data transport.

We are excited to also announce that a new release of CA XOsoft products will be available soon. This new release of CA XOsoft Replication r12 (formerly CA XOsoft WANSync) and CA XOsoft High Availability r12 (formerly CA XOsoft WANSyncHA) will include a wide range of enhancements that simplify management and speed recovery of data. Some of the key features include are:

• A new web-based centralized management architecture with enhanced reporting capabilities provides you with simplified management and greater operational control of replication scenarios across multiple deployments from a single location.
• The new CDP Repository option with full text index searching, allows end-user access to deleted MS Exchange items including messages, attachments, notes, tasks, etc. and recovery without administrative involvement.
• No reboot upgrades, installations and new scenario deployments, eliminate the burden of disruptions for routine maintenance activities.
• Our unique disaster recovery testing feature, CA XOsoft Assured Recovery, has been enhanced to extend non-disruptive disaster recovery (DR) validation and VSS snapshot management to speed data recovery and provide a longer history with more recovery points.

If you are running any previous version of CA XOsoft WANSync or CA XOsoft WANSyncHA and are not on active maintenance, you are eligible to purchase an upgrade to r12.
