On behalf of the CA team, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we, from time to time, introduce wholly new products that can be used to enhance your ability to manage your IT infrastructure.

Today, we are pleased to announce that CA CMDB r11.0 is now generally available via electronic distribution.

The CA CMDB release 11.0 provides you with the ability to significantly mitigate operational risk, improve overall performance of the IT infrastructure and reduce costs of managing your IT infrastructure. In bringing the CA CMDB to the market we worked with several POC/beta clients to review the functionality against customer requirements. This was extremely valuable to us and we would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to our POC/beta testers who helped provide this real-world experience.

The CA CMDB features out of box integrations with r11 of Unicenter Service Desk, Unicenter Asset Management, Unicenter Asset Portfolio Management and Unicenter Network and System Management. As a result the CA CDMB will bring significant added value to those customers who are currently using these products.

This initial 11.0 release is being delivered on Windows operating systems and SQL Server database. We are planning a near term releases that will feature other databases (e.g. Oracle) and other operating environments including UNIX and Linux.
