Today, we are pleased to announce the availability of CA ACF2 r9 for z/OS Service pack 3 (SP3). This service pack includes all maintenance published prior to this update. By installing this service pack, you ensure that your systems are current on maintenance for r9.

On June 16, 2007, customers running r9 SP1, with a specific PTF, were potentially prevented access to CICS applications. Since this issue was present in CA ACF2 r9 Service pack 2 (SP2), this service pack was withdrawn from the market. It has been replaced with Service pack 3 (SP3) which includes the solution to prevent reoccurrence of this issue.
