The BrightStor Enterprise Backup Client Agent for Windows XP provides specific support for Windows XP Snapshot technology.

Snapshots manage access to open files and allow applications to specify their own backup methodologies by providing 'writers' that can be used to backup application-critical information. Being application-specific, these 'writers' are better placed to maintain the integrity of an application's files and allow the backup operator to secure a machine on an application-by-application basis (rather than by volume, directory or file) if it is desirable to do so. The BrightStor Enterprise Backup Client Agent for Windows XP provides integrated support for snapshots as an option.

Obtaining The BrightStor Enterprise Backup Client Agent for Windows XP

We released an encrypted version of the BrightStor Enterprise Backup Client Agent for Windows XP.   Due to import/export restrictions, the encrypted agent cannot be downloaded in France.
