On behalf of the CA team, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly announce updated releases and maintenance for our products.

Today, we are pleased to announce the availability of Unicenter Job Visualization r2.1 SP1 (genlevel 0506). This service pack includes all maintenance published prior to this update. By installing this service pack, you ensure that your systems are current on maintenance for r2.1.

This Service Pack also includes the following enhancements:

  • Trigger and Resource Profile support - Unicenter Job Visualization now supports creating, modifying, deleting, importing and exporting Unicenter Network and Systems Management Job Management Option (Unicenter NSM JMO) trigger and resource profiles.
  • Compaq NonStop Himalaya (Tandem) support - Unicenter Job Visualization now supports automatic import/export from and to Unicenter NSM JMO Manager repositories based on Tandem servers. The unique Tandem job properties are fully supported, including TANDEMASSIGN, TANDEMDEFINE, and so on. All Unicenter Job Visualization features are fully supported for Tandem instances, including Model View, List View, Analysis, and Printing.
  • New Printing Capabilities - You can now span Model View printouts over multiple pages. This lets you obtain larger printouts of instance regions (this functionality was previously available only as a fix).
  • Incremental Export to Unicenter NSM JMO - Unicenter Job Visualization now provides incremental export of Unicenter NSM JMO instance regions. When performing an automatic export, the Export Wizard includes a dialog that displays which jobs, jobsets, and profiles differ, as well as new objects and deleted objects. From this dialog, you can select individual objects to export, delete, and so on.
  • Unicenter AutoSys Job Management r4.5 Support - The Unicenter Job Visualization database schemas have been updated to support changes in Unicenter AutoSys Job Management r4.5.
  • MSI Compliant Install Programs - The Unicenter Job Visualization Client and Server installers are now Microsoft Installer (MSI) compliant.
  • Updated DBMS support - Unicenter Job Visualization now supports Ingres II 2.6, Oracle 9i and 10g, and Sybase 12.5.
  • Bug Fixes - Unicenter Job Visualization r2.1 SP1 includes fixes to bugs discovered since the release of Unicenter Job Visualization r2.1. The high apar number for included fixes is QO42744.
